Minor in AAS

Learn about Asian American identity, history, culture, politics and more by minoring in Asian American Studies!
The transcript-recognized undergraduate academic minor must be completed in conjunction with an undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin.  The requirements listed below are for students following the 2016-2018 and later Undergraduate Catalogs.  Minor requirements for students following earlier catalogs are not transcript-recognized and will vary according to a student’s degree plan.  

Asian American Studies Minor

Students must complete fifteen semester hours, including Asian American Studies 301 or 312 and at least nine hours of upper-division coursework.
